TOKYO—March 25, 2010—NetSTAR, Inc., Japan’s premier developer of URL filtering product technologies and services, today announced that Fujitsu has decided to use NetSTAR’s URL lists for filtering in the Fujitsu IPCOM EX Series network servers.

　The IPCOM EX Series is a UTM appliance that boasts load balancers and other features that make it one of the industry's leading servers used by many enterprises both small and large. Firewall, signature-based IPS, anti-virus, Web content filtering, and a host of other features are integrated into one machine, which can greatly reduce TCO by simplifying system construction and operation.
　NetSTAR’s URL lists are highly effective at regulating access to high-risk Web content that may spread viruses and lead to information leaks, an issue that cannot be overlooked when administrating corporate networks. They are also particularly effective at filtering Web content to prevent personal Web viewing in the workplace while minimizing over-regulation that hobbles valid business activity on the Web. With this level of quality, it is no wonder that over 40% of the corporate market—including companies, educational institutions, and all the major mobile phone operators—has adopted NetSTAR’s lists, and the precision and ease-of-use of NetSTAR’s categories as well as the reliability of the filtering list distribution system is widely recognized.

　NetSTAR’s filtering URL lists are now available through the optional Web content filtering feature of the IPCOM EX Series network servers.
